On the morning of March 12, officials from the Jiangyin Bureau of Industry and Information Technology visited Chiehey to investigate the development and application of artificial intelligence technologies in industrial spray coating automation.
The delegation included Tan Haiping, Director of the Jiangyin Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Zhang Chengqi, Deputy Director of the Bureau, and Xu Hongxi, Director of the Jiangyin Lingang Science and Technology Bureau. Mr. Liu Junhui, General Manager of Chiehey, warmly welcomed the guests and provided a comprehensive presentation on the company’s latest technological achievements and strategic development plans.

The research delegation first visited the company’s corporate culture and innovation exhibition hall, where they gained a detailed understanding of the company’s development strategy and business growth.
According to Mr. Liu Junhui, since its establishment, Chiehey has continuously focused on innovation in the spray painting robot industry. On the hardware side, the company has developed large-reach intelligent spray painting robots with a maximum working radius of 3,800 mm.
On the software side, the company independently developed a proprietary “Flexible Coating System” that integrates 3D vision-assisted positioning recognition and automatic spray path planning. Combined with its dynamic teaching system, the technology enables robots to better adapt to complex and flexible coating scenarios while improving spraying precision and efficiency.

The workshop layout was organized efficiently, with clearly divided functional areas. From spray painting robots with different arm spans to automated coating system models, every display demonstrated the company’s leading position in the industrial coating sector.


Mr. Liu Junhui emphasized the company’s strict quality control standards. Every spray painting robot undergoes multiple rounds of rigorous inspection before leaving the factory.
The testing procedures include comprehensive evaluations of:
- Robotic arm motion accuracy
- Payload capacity
- Operational stability
- Repeatability performance
During precision testing, robots execute complex preset motion trajectories while monitoring systems continuously track deviation values to ensure movement accuracy remains within extremely tight tolerances.
AI + 3D Vision Technology Improves Flexible Production
During the live demonstration, the company’s advanced 3D vision system worked seamlessly with the spray painting robot to accurately identify workpiece positions and automatically optimize coating paths.
This technology effectively solves traditional positioning challenges and allows flexible compatibility with workpieces of different shapes and specifications, meeting the demands of modern flexible manufacturing.
Compared with traditional manual coating methods, the coating quality achieved by Chiehey is significantly more stable and consistent.
According to company testing data:
- Robot powder coating efficiency reaches up to 2.5 times that of manual spraying
- Coating efficiency is nearly 3 times higher than manual roller coating
- Paint consumption can be reduced by approximately 15%
